Hi, I’m Crystal Fleming—the heart behind The Healing Tide Counselling Services. I have completed my Counselling Therapist Private Practice Diploma through Stenberg College and am currently pursuing professional designation with both the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA) and the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT).

Born and raised on beautiful Vancouver Island, I’m proud to call Campbell River home. As a mother of four, my roots here run deep, and my life—both personally and professionally—has shaped my deep passion for walking alongside others through life’s ebbs and flows.

I was drawn to the counselling profession after witnessing firsthand the lengthy wait times individuals—especially youth—face when trying to access urgent mental health support. What started as a desire to advocate for children and youth has since grown into a deep commitment to helping people of all ages. While I have a strong passion for supporting children and adolescents, I have also found great fulfillment in working with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life.

At The Healing Tide, I offer a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their challenges, build resilience, and move toward healing. My counselling approach is grounded in empathy, mindfulness, and person-centered care, drawing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Systemic approaches.

I’m welcoming new clients with immediate availability—providing timely and accessible mental health support through virtual counselling across British Columbia, in-person sessions in Campbell River, and Walk-and-Talk Therapy. My mission is to close the gap in mental health care by delivering compassionate, quality support exactly when you need it.
