At The Healing Tide, expressive arts can be gently integrated into sessions as an optional tool to support emotional healing and self-discovery. For those who are open to it, creative expression — through drawing, painting, movement, or storytelling — can offer a meaningful way to explore emotions that may be hard to express with words. Expressive arts are never required, but for some, healing begins not with words — but with colour, movement, or imagination.


These methods can help reduce anxiety, build self-awareness, and support emotional regulation — no artistic skill is ever required.

Even in online sessions, expressive arts can be included using simple materials available at home, if it feels right for you.





Walk & Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk Therapy is a unique and holistic approach to counselling that takes place outdoors, combining the benefits of movement, nature, and therapeutic conversation.
